Spent another day lazing at home. Thought of going to town area this afternoon. But when I came back home from gym, found deardear sleeping on the sofa. We decided later that we will spend time at home relaxing. We watched TV and went to AMK central to makan. We also redeemed a cake from Bengawan Solo. Deardear insisted on a Marble Cake which turned out looking disgusting.

We finally tried the famous Lor Mee and Laska at the food center opposite out block. It is nice but not really worth the queuing.

Deardear gained a lot of weight from eating today:)

We are broke le. Lucky there is only one more day till PAY day. Haha...and we are receiving SP bill rebate this month so GOOD NEWS.

There was this attachment guy who came attach to me the day before. He was late when he reported for work and subsequently I found him sleeping at the 1st hour of sleep. As such, I decided that I must teach him some discipline and right working attitude. I then bring him around and we worked really hard. I gave him little rest, just enough for him to have his meals and toilet break. At the end of the day, I told him that he must report early for work the next day, which he did. He came to work early yesterday and just when I thought he had improved, he slept again during work. This made me angry. I did the same thing and it was a day of hard work.

When I came back this morning after work, I was so tired that I slept almost until 7pm. I usually will wake up at 4pm and go to the gym. So I met up with deardear at 7.15pm and we went for dinner at AMK central. After our dinner, she went back home and I went to the gym.

Now we are surfing net and enjoying our aircon in our bedroom. How nice to have a home of your own.

National Day 09

I went to National Day celebration (Preview) at Marina Bay yesterday with deardear. She managed to get 2 tickets from her company. The show was nice but I was just to tired to enjoy it as I had not enough sleep after my night shift. I had participated in the 2008 National Day celebrate show and being able to be part of it as an audience was a totally different experience. Saw alot of my colleagues too at the show. I think they will be very evny of me. Hahaha.....

Today, deardear's godsis came to our house with her baby. We had lunch at our house and dinner at AMK centre. Went to AMK Centre to walk walk in the the evening and separated to return home only at about 9.30pm. Actually, I like friends coming to my house just to chill and relax. I thnk I'll get a bed or a sofa bed so that my friends can even stay overnight....hahaha....so happy having your own house.

Just when you thought that person is bad, some incident change your perspective towards that person. I don't know whether I am wrong. Maybe we should all give other people a chance or time to get to know the person better before we come to any conclusions.

Relax Day

Today is a relax day. Woke up in the morning at about 10am. Had breakfast and read the newspaper. I went back to sleep later until about 3pm. Went to the gym after that and returned home to eat dinner with deardear. Now watching TV and surf the net:)

Ice Age 3

I woke up this morning with dear dear and went to work with her because I wanted to borrow her thermometer, which is at her office. It was for my training later in the afternoon. After a day of training, I met up with Royston and Boon Kuay at Plaza Singapura for a moive Ice Age 3 at 9:15pm.

The movie is funny. I reached home at about 12 midnight and Ta Bao satay for dear dear. She finished all the satay and left nothing for me:) Nevermind, I can tahan.

Haha.....now watching movie with dear dear and the puee bears:)

Wedding Dinner

I had brought dear dear along to one of my friend's wedding dinner. The wedding dinner was held at the Prima Restaurant. In case you may not know, it is the revolving restuarant located near to Habourfront MRT.

This is the first time we had experienced having dinner at a restuarant that actually rotates while you eat. Although it was a new experience but we suffered headache later due to the rotation.

Dear dear was happy as she knows that she could have more food as 2 seats were empty at our table.

A group photo was taken with my friend, Peggy (The bride) and her husband. The others were in the same table as us. I knew most of them except for the couple standing 2nd and 3rd from the left. They were Peggy's friends. They were very friendly and we became friends later and most of us went to Dragonfly to Chiong later:)

Hahaha...bad news for those who are interested in my friend, Royston. Seems like he is getting along well with another friend, Yi Xiu. They were dancing closely in the club and Royston even saved her later from a lorry that was driving towards us from behind. Royston grabbed her hand and pulled her to the side. Yi Xiu left with Royston later in a cab. Don't know where are they going at 1am.......it is up to our imagination liao:)

Samsung 32 inch LCD Television

We had bought a Samsung 32 inch LCD television on the last day of the IT fair held 2 weeks ago:)

We did not plan to go initially but went on the last day as one of my friend, Johnathan was there as he wanted to get a LCD television.

We reached Expo and met up with Johnathan at about 8.30pm. Johnathan told me that he was eyeing on a Samsung 32 inch LCD TV, which was selling at S$1049 and come with a home theatre system and S$150 Robinson's voucher.

While Johnathan was waiting at the Samsung booth, dear dear and I decided to cruise around the Expo fair to look at other TV brand.

We went around and was looking at brands like Sharp and LG. As the prices were much more lower than Samsung. At about 9pm, Johnathan called me and told me that he had decided to buy the Samsung TV and he was queueing.

Dear dear and I continued looking around for the best buy. At about 9.45pm, the last 15 mins before the fair comes to an end, we coincidently came to the Samsung booth. We were about to leave with disappointment as the price of Sharp and LG TV did not drop and had stopped by the Samsung booth to take a look. Suddenly miracle happened!!! The price of the Samsung 32 inch LCD TV dropped to S$999. It was exactly the same set bought by Johnathan.

What happened later was funny. I know dear dear will want to defend herself on it but what I am saying are true. Dear dear turned around and asked whether we want the TV and I replied YES. Guess what, as there were 10 sets left, dear dear squeezed and dashed through the crowds to get a number at the counter. The staff noticed her and even announced with a microphone to his colleague " This lady, this lady!!!" He was telling his colleague to give a queue number to dear dear. We got the queue number 6. We went to Johnathan just to confirm whether it was the same set. When dear dear was walking back to the counter to make the payment, she discovered that I was not beisde her. Actually I was still beside Johnathan, which was not far away from her. However, we observed that dear dear was totally GONE!!! Not only did she not notice me but she was standing aimlessly and looking blur at the middle of the walkway. Her hand was at her mouth and she was turning her body but she looks totally GONE!!! Hahaha...so funny.

I had told her what I had observed but she kept coming up with excuses and was trying to defend herself. Luckily I had a witness, who is Johnathan.

So we got the TV. We were so hungry later and decided to eat something at a restaurant. Here are some photos.

Dragonboat competition

Yesterday night, I switched off my handphone after received a few nusiance calls. I thought I will have some peace after switching my phone but guess what. Dear dear picked up a phone call in the middle of the night and it was one my colleague who was trying to call me. He is also dear dear's friend. He told me that there is a dragon boat competition this morning and they are shortage of man. As such, he hope that I can row for them. I wanted to reject him as I am very tired but my heart soften upon his repeated request. I agreed and woke up very early this morning and took a cab to UOB building for the competition held at Singapore River.

This photograph was taken after the competition. We were disqualified after rowing off course. The competition course was short, about 300 meters but all of us were very tired as we did not do any training before that.

Small fatfat claimed that he was there to support me. But I know that his true motive was to see all the sport babes there. I am going to tell bunny.

Dear dear was there too. Too bad I did not win anything for her. But at least I got myself a free t-shirt which says Toa Payoh East CSC. Hahaha....I am such a typical Singaporean. Go Singapore!!!

Renovation

The renovation for our new house have started. We took a few photographs during our visits to our new house to inspect the progress. The contractor, Ah Keng and his crews are fast.

The wall between the living room and the kitchen was hacked off and we are planning to build a new wall further inside the kitchen.

On 21/11/2008, when I went to inspect our house in the afternoon, Ah Keng crew was laying the new wall. The space betweent he living room and the kitchen will be our dining area.

On 22/11/2008, the wall had been completed and the tiles for the wall had been laid. Good job Ah Keng and his crews:) Tks Ah Puee electricial.

Money No Enough

Haiz........money no enough.

Alicia and I met our Interior Designer, Alton today at our new house. He brought along a electrician today for the electric wiring in our house. Small fat fat was also around to mess up everything!!!!

The electrician, Ah Hee went around the house and marked out all the electric point. At the end of the day, he quoted us S$ 1510 for the house electric wiring. We managed to bargain and cut the quotation to S$1438. All thanks to Alicia and small fatfat. (Cos small fatfat threaten to punch his puee face if he does not comply)

At the end of the day, we did a little calculation and discovered that our money is no enough......haiz......now I am stressed...more stress when dear dear is beside me and correcting my English........(Small fatfat, stop sitting there and staring at the laptop)

I hope that everything will go smoothly for us.

I think I better pray now:) Hahaha...anyway, still need to be positive and optimistic.

Lastly, small fatfat, stop staring at the laptop!!!!

Sacrifice

Finally, I am logging on to my blog and writing a new post. It has been a long time since I wrote something.

Let me fill up the blanks for the period when I am absent.

First,

I am married!!! Alicia and I got married on the 16th August 2008. Both our families and friends had witnessed the ROM ceremony at Stardus Clubhouse along Rivervalley Rd. It was my greatest moment and I am glad that I have myself a good wife.

Second,

We had got our new house!!! Alicia and I went for our 2nd appointment at HDB on 29th October 2008 and collected our house key. It is a resale flat in Ang Mo Kio!!! I am happy that we find ourselve a nice place to move in and having our own family lives:)

Third,

We are going for renovation!!! We had engaged Interior Designer, Alton from IdealHouse and we will be starting the renovation on coming Monday!!! The renovation of the our house will be completed around end of December this year.

I am glad I have accomplished so much this year. Although there are difficult times but Alicia and I managed to pull through. Hopefully our good luck will carry on and future will be bright for us and our families:)

Lately, I had not been going out with my friends....cos I am broke right now. To a certain extend that I don't dare to asked my friends out or even to join their meetings. I think this is a phrase where everyone needs to go through and I am no exception.

Lets hope that I will strike TOTO!!!

Smooth

Firstly, I would like to apologise to my BIGGEST BLOG FAN Alex Lee Eng Meng for not inviting him to my ROM. The reason being is that it is only meant for relatives and close friends. Anyway, I will invite him on my customary marriage dinner.

Although there are still 5 months to the end of the year but I would say that this is quite a smooth year. Although there were some humps during the way but everything turned out alright.

So, I will be expecting to get married, get my class 3 and get my new house. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and on track.

Ice Cream

Last Friday night, I was having dinner with dear dear at Din Tai Feng restaurant. We walked over to Suntec later throught City Link. On the way, we spotted an Ice Cream Shop, which was newly opened. We did a bet and dear dear lost, so she agreed to treat me to the ice cream.

So, rightfully, I should be the one that is enjoying the ice cream, while dear dear look in envy......but....things usually don't go that way....please look at the photos below and you will

Being Together

When 2 person decided to be together, they must be prepared for the changes and ready to make sacrifices. It is because it is not about "YOU" yourself anymore. It involved the both of you.

Nothing is perfect in this world. No human are made perfect to suit another person. So conflict and argument came along due to misunderstanding and poor communication.

But do not lose fate in the relationship. Instead, both must make an effort to compromise and solve the problem. And when you do something or make any decision, you must think and consider of your partner.

I am glad that even there are hiccups during our relationship, we managed to pull through.

Let us learn from our mistakes and let this relationship be forever.

Getting Sick

I really hate being sick. These are the disadvantages of it;

1) You'll feel very bad and weak, with headache and body ache.
2) You'll not be able to go out, as you're too weak. Even if you not too weak, you'll have no mood.
3) You'll spend alot of money seeing doctor and for the medicine.
4) You cannot go to the gym and will lost alot of muscle mass.
5) No one will want to get near you as they might be infected.
6) You'll sleep and sleep and sleep.....and all the time are considered wasted.

So, basically there are nothing you can do but to rest and get well, when you are sick.

So, let us eat well, rest well and train well. Maintain a healthy lifestyle, so that we can live longer and enjoy the time with our love one.

National Day

During my younger days, when I watched the National Day Parade on the television, I had been wondering when can I be a part of the celebration. The thought of it went off when I grew older. So, when I was called upon to be a part of the National Day Parade, guess how excited I was.

The training for the National Day Parade had started as early as late April. Although the training was tough, but everyone preservered as we felt honoured to be a part of it.

All of us are from different departments but all are having the same spirit. The one in the middle is our chief trainer.

The muscle man requested to take a photograph with me. He is very fit as I heard that he can do 30 plus pull-ups. I am glad that I am making friends, beside having the chance to participate in the National event.

Haha, too bad after that day I got sick. I had just seen a doctor and was given 2 days of mc. So I am resting at home now so that I am ready for the next training.

Driving License

Yah!!!! I am finally getting my driving license lor. I just got the news from my colleague. He said that our company is sending me for my Class 3 driving license.

I had been waiting for this day since I joined my company. So it is a wish come true.

Although, I still need to pass the test but I am quite confident about getting it successfully.

Training Your Muscle

I am a member of the FitnessFirst at the Ang Mo Kio Hub. When I first signed up for the gym, they gave me 2 complementary tickets for the coaching by the personal trainer. I did not and have no intention of utilizing the tickets as I thought that I am quite familiar with the gym equipment.

However, a few months later, one of the gym instructors called me and he asked whether I am still interested in the personal coaching. I agreed to go down as I am not satisfied with the muscle progress of myself at that time.

After meeting up with him at the gym, I told him that I wanted to get leaner. For the next one hour, he coached me and correct my techniques on using the gym equipments. The things that he had taught me was useful.

The bad thing was, I quit taking protein supplements due to some health problem (Which I thought I have). For the next 3 months, my weight drop from 86KG to 80KG. I had also lost alot of muscle mass. Although I trained as hard but there was no muscle gain.

I felt quite bad. The daily food intake was not enough to repair the muscle damage caused during the training.

After 3 months without protien, I finally can't take it and went back it. The process of regaining the muscle was tough but I persevered.

Now, 3 months later, I am back to shape and was better. My muscles are better developed and more well proportion.

The gym instructor saw me today and he said that from the way I am going, I need to consume higher protein serving and also to consume BCAA. I acknowledged even without knowing what is BCAA.

I have checked it out on the internet just now. BCAA is amino acid, which is good enhancement to the protein.

I may be giving it a try. Who knows, I may become the next Singapore Bodybuilding Champion....hahaha....just joking.

Training is my hobby and I like it alot. No intention of competing but train to feel good.

Encounter at the gym

Yesterday, my colleague, Noor and I went to the company gym after our work. The gym is located at the fifth floor and is usually empty at night. When we reached the gym at about 9.30pm, the lights were off. After entering the gym, Noor went into the toilet.

He came out shortly and told me that someone was in the toilet. At first, I thought that it was nothing, as what is so great about people being in the toilet. However, Noor analysed that who would go to the gym toilet without switching on the gym light. Come to think of it, it was really weird. Noor also told me that he tried bending down to see who was inside. What he saw, shocked him. He saw a pair of boots but it was not in a correct manner if someone is sitting on the toilet bowl doing his business.

The atmosphere suddenly became scary. We did not have a plan but had decided to wait outside the toilet to see what happen. Suddenly, the toilet opened!!!

Both of us were shocked and Noor was even seen walking away, with the intention to escape. And guess who came out. It was another colleague of ours.

Hahaha, I teased Noor on the matter later. So funny. He may look big and brave but.......

Hahaha, hope he does not see this entry, or else he will say "Nonsense"!!!

Stardus

My apology to all my blog fans, especially Alex Lee Eng Meng. Sorry for not updating my blog as I am busy lately with my work.

Share some good news with you all. Dear dear and I are getting married. The date had been set in August at Stardus Clubhouse, which is along River Valley Rd.

I met up with my Poly Chinese Orchestra friends yesterday, and I send out my first batch of ROM invitation cards. They were not surprised, cause I guessed they had already predicted it.

I had not meet up with them for quite a long time and we took the opportunity to chit chat till almost midnight.

I had enjoyed the gathering and hope that dear dear will be able to blend in next time:)

Lastly, I hope that everyone around will be able to find your true love and live happily ever after.

Taiwan Trip

Dear dear and I had went and returned from Taiwan about a month ago. Taiwan is a great country with good food and alot of fun stuff. We had experienced alot of new things during the trip and we will definately want to go there the next time:)

This photo was taken at the new Beitou Natural Hotspring. The spring water was so hot that we could feel it even we were at a distance away. The hotspring that you have seen in the pic was not for public use. There is a public hotspring pool around the area to cater to those who want to enjoy the hotspring.

Dear dear and I did not went to the public one as it was abit crampy and dirty:) We went to one of the hotel that provide hotspring water in the hotel room. There are alot of hotels around the area providing such service and you can choose one that you prefer.

The night market in Taiwan was fun. Here is a photo of dear dear with Taiwan's local delicacy. See how happy she was:)

The lollipop was a prize for the air gun shooting game. This is the biggest prize that the shop has. It goes to tell that dear dear and I are good shooter:)

On the last night in Taipei Ximending, we managed to catch a glimpse of ZaiZai doing his film shoot. He is taller than what I had expected. Dear dear went crazy and was jumping all around just to get a good view of him.

We took a Cathay Airline airplane back to Singapore and the scenary was real nice. We did enjoyed ourselves. Even though we did not have much shopping.

P.S. Dear dear, lets go to Hong Kong & Taiwan the next time (If financially able). I love you.

Singapore Flyer

Dear dear and I went to Singapore Flyer just now. I was lucky to get 2 complementary tickets. The cost of one adult ticket is about SGD 30 and the whole ride was about 30mins. One dollar for a minute. Although it is nothing much but it was a great experience. We took some photographs before, during and after the ride.

We went for dinner later at Marina Sq and guess what we had for dinner. We had our dinner at KFC. I was very hungry and I ordered a Family meal, which cost me about SGD 28. The KFC manager was shock when I told him that only 2 persons are having the meal. We managed to finish all the food and nothing had gone waste.

This is no the first time people are amazed by what we ordered. The day before, dear dear and I were having dinner at "Dian Xiao Er" restaurant at AMK hub. When the waitress came to take our order, I told her that we wanted a medium portion duck meat dish and one small protion vegetable dish. The waitress was abit shock. She explained that the medium portion duck meat dish is a half duck and the serving size is for 5 to 7 person. But I told her to serve the dishes anyway.

Same "shockness" and same result. We finish everything and I even order another 2 extra bowl of rice. The waitress was shocked again....

Can't they see my size?? I am a big eater. (Same goes for dear dear too) Bigger size, come bigger appetite. This is not biggest amount we had eaten. The biggest was at Hong Kong. When we were at "Ming Xin" Restaurant. We ordered a half goose, 2 pigeon, one claypot of soup and one claypot of vegetable. I think the amount can serve about 10 people. But dear dear and I still finish it all!!!!!

And, of cos the same thing also happened there. The customers at the next table were also shock.

Hahahaha...so funny:)

Anyway, eating too much is not very good for the body. Especially when you are planning to lead a healthy lifestyle:)

Buffet

A few days ago, I met up with my polytechnic friends and we had buffet at "Good porridge arrived at steamboat". Abit funny when you direct translated it.

The food at the buffet was alright, but it was the people that makes the meal different:) I enjoyed the meal because it is hard to get these people together:)

That day, Royston was asking about the PSP slim at the Tenchi comic shop. I overheard the conversation between him and the sale person. The price and the package was reasonable and so I decided to buy one for dear dear and myself:)

We had been wanting a PSP since it was the "Fat" version...haha...finally got one:)

A desparate man

I just realised that some desparate man had send a friendster message to dear dear, with the intention of wooing her!!!! I have saw the message that dear dear posted on her blog. The man is disgusting and he is such a loser.

I have personally leave a message on the disgusting man's friendster and hope that he will learn his lesson and stop disturbing other girls again.

Whoever interested in knowing how that person look like, can go to dear dear's blog and read about it.

The pathetic man only have 6 friends in his friendster and I seriously doubt his intention of having a friendster account.

I'll give him a good scolding if I see him on the road next time.

Good News

My father had just completed his operation on Friday. The operation was successful and my father is recovering now. The CT scan shows that the other parts of my father's body is not affected by cancer. This is a piece of good news:)

For the past few days, alot of my relatives came to visit my father. They were giving their support both spiritually and finacially:)

Another good news is....dear dear and I had got a pair of ".......". Hahaha....I'm not sure whether dear dear wants to reveal it or not. So better keep it a secret:)

Hope more that more good news will come:)

Oh.....ya...attended to Bobo's wedding today:) The wedding was held at Rasa Resort at Sentosa. It was a wedding lunch. The food was not bad and the location is quite good too:)

On the way home

I was on my way home after my night shift yesterday. While walking back, I received a call from the doctor of SGH.

At that moment, when he introduced himself, I felt that something bad is going to happen. And just as I thought, he brought me a bad news. He told me that my father had a colon cancer and he wanted my family to meet him that day to discuss about the operation.

I went back home and told my mother. We went down to SGH that day and met up with the doctor, Dr Ng. He told us that the operation must be done as soon as possible as the colon cancer is almost covering the intestine. This definately was another blow to our family. The date of the operation was set on coming friday.

Today we went to visit my father, dear dear went too. My family likes her alot:) even my niece:)
Another good news is NKF had accepted our application. But my father needs to wait for about 2 months before he could have his dialysis at the NKF dialysis center.

Kidney Dialysis

My father is suffering from high blood pressure. A few years ago, the doctor told my father that his kidney was not functioning very well and the toxic level inside his blood was too high and he should maintain a healthier lifestyle or there will be a possibility of kidney dialysis. My family then encourage my father to retire as all his children had grown up and finacially stable.

My father took our advices and was resting at home after his retirement. However his condition did not improve. A few days ago, when we accompanied my father to SGH for check up, the doctor told us that my fahter's kidneys is failing and the toxic inside his blood was very high. The doctor instructed my father to be warded immedialety for kidney dialysis, because if there is any delay, it might be life threatening.

My father is worried.

The hospital told us that after my father discharge from the hospital, he should continue the dialysis at private dialysis centre, before the NKF approved our application for NKF subsidy. The estimated cost of the dialysis is about S$2500 to S$3000 per month. This is a huge amount, considering that I am the sole bread winner for my family. Thankfully, I got the suport from my family and dear. Hoped that we could overcome this matter as a family:)

Today I went to a Skin Specialist at Orchard Road. This Skin Specialist is recommended by Royston.

The doctor prescribed some pills and cream for my face. The next review is a month later. The total cost is around S$200/-

I heard from Royston that this doctor is very good.

Ok. So we will wait next month to see the result ba:)

New Cheap Watches

Hahaha....got this 2 new cheap watches from Bugis Village. S$5 each:) What a good buy. Came across it when we were shopping around at Bugis village a few days ago. Dear dear got the brown colour watch, while I got the white colour one. I told my friends and colleagues that my watch is a Levi's watch and some really believed it:) Hahaha...what a good lier:) However alot said that the watch does not suit me as it is too sissy le:) But...who cares. I bought it for fun peace and laughter.

Oh...ya...the most important thing is that the watches are still functioning.

I met dear dear at AMK hub today. She was having her facial there:) Noticed the picture below? I think the beautician had squeezed the pimples on her forehead:)

We brought a small cake from Breadtalk to celebrate our 13th Monthsary. After that we headed to Orchard to meet other friends:)

We watched movie L later. To me, the movie was not nice. The plot was not as interesting as Deathnote. And if you didn't watch Deathnote before, it will be abit difficult to understand what they are talking about.

However I did benefited from the movie:)

Through the last 23days of L life, I understand that we should treasure our every day and make it fulfilling. Treasure the ones beside you as you might not know when you will lose them.

I met up with dear dear on 20/02/08 for dinner at Bugis. After that we went back to her house, as it was still early. However, we encountered some problem. Dear dear's lock was faulty. I inserted the key into the key hole for a few times but could not insert fully. After much effort and persistant (Also with the help of some oil), I managed to open the lock. Wow.....I was thinking to myself, "I am a good locksmith". Hahaha....very funny.

Anyway, went to work yesterday and saw Alex. He was injured. However despite that, he still came to work. Hahaha...(actually he instructed me to put this in). Anyway, hope that he recover soon.

I just came back from work and will be meeting dear dear later. We are planning to celebrate our 13th Monthsary later and we are going to buy a cake....yah.....so see you dear:)

As we were of different team in the past, we don't really have a chance to attend the Dinner & Dance together.

Happy Chinese New Year

Gong xi gong xi:) Happy Chinese New Year to everyone.

Today is the 4th day of Chinese New Year. On the 1st day, I went visiting with my parents and later went to work at night.

On the 2nd day, I returned home from work in the morning. I had a hair cut (by my mother) and went out at about 5pm to meet dear dear, for visiting at her relative house. At her relative, we did a little bit of gambling:) I and dear dear won a bit of money. Hahaha..so happy:)

On the 3rd day, after visiting dear dear friend's place, she came to my house. We had lunch together went ot my friend's place later:) At my friend's place, we gambled also.....and we won a bit too. Hahaha...so happy. I think we do have some luck this year:)

But the money we won, somehow goes to cover the taxi fare (Took a lot of taxi during this period).

Sick

I am having a fever since yesterday...I was feeling bad, as I am suppose to meet dear dear today. But due to the illness, I think I could only rest at home le...cos tomorrow I am working. I do not wish to take MC tomorrow cos I do not want my colleagues who are on New Year leave to be called back:)

My father is not in very good health. He has high blood pressure and abit of kdney failure. Lately, he found one massage machine called the "Iodea" which the distributer claimed that it could cure his sickness. The machine costed around S$10 000. My father was pursuaded to buy the machine and he was very keen on it.

As the machine costed a bomb, I went to the OSIM to make a check, cos even the highest grading OSIM massage chair does not cost that much. The staff from OSIM told my mother and myself that he does not recommend any patient of kidney failure to purchase any massage device cos it would actually made the kidney work even harder. Resulting in kidney overwork.

My mother and I told my father about it but he refused to listen. Today the distributor of the "Iodea" delivered the machine to my house. I asked him whether the machine come with any warranty or certificate. He was unable give any certificate, he could only said that they had registated the machine with HSA (Health Science Authority), however it had not been approved yet.

I tried to pursuade my father one last time, he refused to listen. In the end, he bought the machine for around S$7 500 for a machine that he did not research on.

I was abit upset with his decision.

Dear dear just called me. I could feel that she was not in a very good mood.....maybe it was because we had not meet each other for a long time ba.....

Finally the dragonboat competition is over. All the hard work had paid off:)

This is the medal that we have won:) Haha...it was real tough:)

In the semi-round, my team came in first. The timing was 2mins 57sec. "G" came in shortly and got second:)

During the final, there was a tough fight between "G" and us. In the end, "G" won and we got 1st runner up:) Our timing was 2mins 55sec:)

Actually before the men's competition, I went to row for the mixed team. That game wasn't too fair as the referee just started the race even before we got ready. We were caught by surprise and when we started rowing, we were already a boat length from others. This was a great disadvantage. We appeal later but was unsuccessful:) Too bad.....

Losing weight

Lately my weight had been dropping. A month ago I was about 85kg, now I am only 82kg. I think the reason of the weight lost is because of dieting and also stopping of protein shake intake.

Recently I have some health problem and I decided to change my daily diet. Now I had been eating more fruits and vegetables and also exercising regularly:)

I am feeling better now. Even there was a great loss of muscle mass....but I still think it is quite worth it:)

Hope that I could get back in shape soon without the help of protein shake.

I am going to work later and I would be reaching home later at night at about 11pm...???

Yesterday I went for the dragonboat training by "Animal" Sharul. The training was tough but I still enjoy it...cos my fitness level had improved. After the training, I rush to AMK Polyclinic for my ultrasound appointment. I met actress "Liu Zhi Xuan" there and she was just sitting beside me. She was there to see doctor too:) She looks different from the TV, I couldn't recognise her until all the staff rush out to take photo with her. Gossip abit....she was with another guy....hahaha....

After the appointment, I went to Bedok to meet dear dear and we watch the channel 8 drama "Huang Jin Lu" at her house together with her mum. Wow......the show was nice.

Anyway...I will be going back to AMK Polyclinic again next week for my review. Hopefully nothing happen to me:)

My birthday is on 10/01/1982.

On 10/01/08, I am on duty from 12am till 10pm. My family, friends and colleague had msg me throughout the day to wish me happy birthday. But the surprise comes when dear dear suddenly appear at my work place. I was shock to see her as we already planned to meet on the following day and I thought that she was heading home that day. She brought along 3 muffins and some snacks from Old Chang Kee. Just nice, auntie Choo (Cleaning auntie) was there to become the brightest light bulb ever..haha....

On 11/01/08 morning, I reported for dragon boat training....but the training was cancel without me knowing it......everyone was laughting at me...but nevermind, I went to the gym instead to train my muscle...hahaha...at fatfat club...

I met dear dear that evening at Bugis at 7pm, dear dear was early. When I met her, she gave me a "LAPTOP"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as a birthday present....wow...she is rich....

Anyway, dear dear already told me what is my present a few days ago...so I am not that shock.....however dear dear never fail to suprise me....she said that she was waiting for a colleague..but when the "colleague" arrived...it was my best friend, Royston...!!!! what a shock.....

Later, another 2 best friends join in, they were Hui Jun and Boon Kuay.....wow....dear dear had planned it long ago with them.....dear dear also gave me a Mickey Mouse balloon....which somehow made me the central of attraction....everyone was looking at me......

We then spend the night having dinner at one the resturant, Indulgez near to Bugis.....the birthday cake that dear dear had pre-order was delicious...all my friends enjoyed it:)

Snake Bite

Have you ever wonder what is the feeling like, to be bitten by a snake. Well, I experienced it yesterday when I was on duty:) I was bitten by a 3m long python. Could really felt the fang in my flesh, even though I am wearing a black leather gloves.

I was send to TTSH later and received my treatment. Although the python is non-venomous animal, but the risk of other infections are still there.

Not to be superstition but yesterday before the snake bite, I actually got a sign........one of my colleague Noor told me that I am working with "snake" so beware of it. Haha...it was a joke that we shared:) The "snake" that he is referring to is those colleague who are hypocrite. True enough, I got a snake bite later. He joked after our work that it was my retribution.

I got 2 days of MC and now I am resting at home:)

Dear dear got to know about the snake bite yesterday. She was very caring and kept reminding me to take my medications. Haha...felt abit like a wife that kept telling her husband to do something:)

Wow....I am so tired. Today I took my IPPT and the result is abit....disappointed. I failed!!! I wouldn't say that I had been training very hard but....I did not expect myself to fail!!! I thought I would at least pass it:) Haiz....I had sign up for the re-test. Hopefully I could get at least a silver then:)

Yesterday, I went to fetch dear dear:) After that we bought a box of ice-cream and a packet of potato chip:) We then went back to her house. We ate the ice-cream, potate chip and watch the television at the same time:)

Haha...we finished the potate chip and almost finished the ice-cream:) haha...both of us are big eater:)

Yesterday, was also raining very heavily:) I still remember we stood by her kitchen window and somehow enjoy the weather:) quite romantic and warming:)

Yesterday, I went to fetch dear dear off from work after her morning shift. This has become a routine now, as it is difficult to meet on other days. Although we do meet each other, but the time was like only a few short hours, including the journey back to her home. I also noticed that it had been a long time since we had a decent meeting. Yesterday, I took a close look of her......felt that I have not seen her "properly" for so long.

"I am typing half way and dear dear called me and now I am having difficulties typing as I am only using one finger ." That is what dear dear told me:)

Been trying to update my blog lately, but....seem like I was too busy. The past weekend was terrible.....alot things went wrong.....

Firstly, did something major wrong during work.
Secondly, my friend almost got into major accident.
Thirdly, friends got into major quarrel.
The worst thing of all is the "snake", that had been agitating me.....wanted to punch his face:)

Luckily family and friends are around to support. Especially my love...Miss Wei Ling:) She had been very supportive and had always stood there quietly, listening to all my complaints and worries. I am very grateful to her for the understanding and caring that she had given to me.

These few nights, when I was on my bed.....I think of alot of things. Why after a bad day, the first person that I thought of calling was dear dear? Why I got angry with my friends and supervisor after they had commented something about dear dear?

Why?

Finally I had concluded and got the answer to it. It is because she (Wei Ling) is the person I love and a person so important that I do not wish any harm to be brought upon her. She is so close to me that I felt I could trust her with my life and future:)

Truthfully, she is the only girl that I had felt so connected with. She is like my family and I will do what I had promised. "To cherish and love her forever."

Finally reached home le......i'm really exhausted today after a whole day of work and tomorrow i'll be doing morning shift again....omg.........felt really exhausted.....think i cannot make it already:)

Today was not a very good day.....the wit project which Md Noor and I had spend lots of time doing was destory and all our efforts were gone and it was one of the few times that you could find Noor being disappointed and angry. Today definately was not a good day.

However I still feel abit of energy now as I am now looking the photo frame that dear dear had bought for me and the photo containing inside it:) Did I mentioned that they are beautiful:) I like them so much and it is some kind of energy boaster for me.

It has been a long time since I last blog. I was quite busy lately with my course and work stuffs:) Good news is I had finally graduated from my Scene of Crime course and is a certify crime scene officer:) The course was fun but the fact of separating from your seven weeks course mates was sad.....:(

Anyway at the 2nd last week of my course, I and dear dear went for a getaway at People's Association Chalet during the weekend. Before that dear dear was very secretive about the location of the place and told me it was a surprise:) And true enough, it was really a romantic surprise by my dear dear:)

At the beginning of the relationship, I had asked dear dear what kind of person that she dislike. To my amaze, she told me that she don't like guys that could not make decision. I was quite worried as I might be such a person.......:(

Actually, I don't see myself being a person that could not make decision....I am a person that could make plans for myself and my friends. However....when it comes to my love....i just don't know why........
maybe I just wanted her to be happy....and let her choose the places and events she likes. I am afraid that I might chose somewhere or something that might spoilt our dates.

I must admit that most of the time, dear dear was the one who was making the plans and decision....like where we wanted to go and what to do during our dates. For that........

Today is a Saturday and both dear dear and I are not working:) We did not meet each other as I am visiting my eldest sister who is staying at Yishun for her 2nd child first month of birth and dear dear is busy with her room cleaning and wits:) I felt a little weird not meeting her when both of us were free.....so maybe I'll go and look for her at her house secretly...hahaha:) Hope that she would not read the blog before I arrived or else she would be expecting it.

When I was at my eldest sister's house, dear dear send me a picture msg.....a very special picture msg, which was SHOCKING!!! Hahaha....a bit exaggerated.

I am going to Malaysia with dear dear tomorrow. It will be the 2nd time we go on an oversea trip:) I believe we are going to have a good time. But.......hope that dear dear's team "light bulbs" wouldn't disturb us...hahaha:)

I dated dear dear on Wednesday for dinner and movie at Bedok. When I was at her house, she gave me a surprise. Guess what...dear dear bought me a Polo T-shirt ( A branded one). The Polo T-shirt was ordered online and she had planned it 2 weeks ago. The Polo T-shirt was packed nicely inside a GNC bag which was used to deceive me:) Hahaha...dear dear was indeed creative. There was also a "Love letter " specially for me:) How sweet of my dear dear, Alicia.

After that, we went to have our dinner at the Foodcenter below her house. It was another feast and I felt my tummy growing again:) Dear dear insist that I should eat more. It started raining heavily after we had reached Bedok Centre and we bought an umbrella ( purple colour ). We then charge to the Princess Cinema for a movie:) However...we had differences on the movie to watch:) Dear dear wanted to watch a scary movie ( Cadevar ), while I wanted to watch a comedy ( Wild Hogs ). Hahaha....dear dear then used some naughty tricks to convince me:) However at last, my beloved dear dear gave in to me and we watched the Wild Hogs:) Many things happened inside the theatre...which I should not disclosed. Hahaha.

Dear dear was having a flu yesterday. I met her and told her;
"Dear,
I will take care of you forever. I promise you. "

The sentence came from the bottom of my heart and I mean it. I love you dear:)

A Journey

Just reached home, after having a Satay feast with my foreign classmate of the SCU course:) Even since working office hour, I had gained alot of weight. I would usually eat 3 meals during that 8 hours course:) Haha....a big different compare to when I am in the Team:)

After the meal at Lao Pa Sa, I led my Bangladeshi classmates back to their Oxford hotel, which was located at Waterloo St. We walked approximately for 1 hours:) The journey could have shorten to half an hour if we did not stop by the places of interest for some lovely photos taken with our Nikon FM2:) After reaching their hotel, my Bangladeshi classmates were very grateful as I had shown them the short cuts to their hotel:)

The course outing was great. However.....what was greater was a message received from my dear dear:) She told me that she had read my blog and was very touch by it as it was sweet:) I had saved that message in my handphone as I felt that she had appreciated me so much.

Before I started blogging yesterday, there was a funny incident:) Yesterday, I thought that dear dear was angry with me for not accepting her money. I had sent her a few messages that day but she did not replied. My feeling was bad and felt quite down as I took a bus home alone.....lonely and sad. At the mid of my journey, dear dear finally messaged and I immediately gave her a call. She told me that she was very exhausted and tired.

I am glad that nothing had happened and it was just an over reacting by myself:) The message from dear dear really gave me a great relieve and from that incident I realised how important dear dear meant to me.

Am I deeply in love? I guess I do. Love did not blind me cos I am seeing her very clearly and had grabbed her from the rest of the world.

Just For You

This is my first time blogging. The reason why I named my blog as "Just For You" is because this blog is dedicated to my beloved " Dear Dear" Alicia. Today is our 3th month "monthssary" ( a word that was taught by her ) and I felt that it will be great to write something for her :)

In the very beginning of the relationship, alot of people told me that once after the "Honeymoon" period, we will have our first fight and what lays ahead would be a challenge for us.
I must admit that when I heard those words from the so-call "Experienced" persons, I was abit worried and unsure. Worried that the day might come and unsure of the outcome.
Then I and Alicia spend our first Valentine's day together after her work and I had my most enjoyable day:)

On our second month, the "Experienced" persons warn me again that the "Honeymoon" period is going to be over soon and I should be prepared. However after being together for a month, I felt more confident. Not because of me but because of her, Alicia.

On our third month, the "Experienced" persons quiet down. I believe that they had realised how strong the relationship is. In fact, they are teasing on when are we getting marry. During that month, we had planned for an oversea trip to Thailand:)
We went to our first oversea trip together and we spend our enjoyable time together by shopping and eating. We even catch a movie in Thailand:) Every morning when I opened my eyes, I will see her in my arms ( enjoy hugging her when I sleep ). The feeling of just the 2 persons made it feel so great:) Its just like a family!!!
